🌴 KAUAʻI EVENTS

When the COVID outbreak hit, I was pregnant with my first baby and running my brick-and-mortar shop here on Kauaʻi. Between the uncertainty and the arrival of Kingston, I made the difficult decision to close my storefront and pivot my energy into something new.

At the time, I was sitting on a lot of inventory — and the local vendors I carried had nowhere to showcase their creations. That’s when I realized: we needed a new space to bloom. So Bloom & Prosper hosted what was meant to be a temporary 3-month market at the Princeville Community Center.

That little idea turned into the Princeville Artist + Flea Market — and eventually grew into a thriving Market ʻOhana serving over 60+ locally owned businesses here on Kauaʻi. It became more than a market — it became a movement rooted in aloha, resilience, and support for local makers.

🌺 Princeville Markets — Temporarily Paused

Both the Princeville Artist + Flea Market and the Princeville Farmers & Artists Market are currently on pause as we await the outcome of PHCA’s legal discovery process.

🌈 The good news? The law has officially been changed to protect markets like ours — and that’s a huge win for our island community. Now we’re simply waiting on the final steps from the Princeville Board to determine when we can return. At this time, we don’t have a confirmed reopening date, but our commitment to supporting local artists, farmers, and makers remains stronger than ever.

In the meantime, you can still connect with us through our Instagram Live Sales, where we continue to share handpicked vintage finds, home goods, and aloha from Kauaʻi.
